…But I am sure God keeps no one waiting unless He sees that is it good for him to wait.

It’s not good for us to be alone.
This past sentence lays ringing in my mind. Lately, I’ve taken a liking to being isolated. I haven’t really viewed it as a bad thing until recently. I was sitting there surrounded by a sea of people I love, people who I haven’t seen for a while, the same people who have kept me accountable, who have encouraged me in my walk with the Lord, and vice versa, and wondered at their love. So genuine and full of assurance it is. Now, knowing that, I chose to distance myself from people subconsciously before. It was a rather slow process, but I took to the corners of my room rather than the corners of the church body.I’ve been growing in my relationship with the Lord, I’ve been happier than ever and still am so.very.happy. but I realized that a month ago, when I was down, when I was brought deep into the depths of doubt and discomfort, my healing could have been quicker if I had chosen to tell others about my problems.
Its so important to be surrounded by people who will encourage you in your love for Christ, but with that said, if you were to honestly ask yourself: Am I the type of friend that attracts people to me because I point them constantly to Christ and show them all my love? Would that answer be yes? God gave us the church to encourage us. We all need encouragement and love in the bundles. I’m so excited about all that God has been showing me lately. He has helped me grasp, through the power of the Holy Spirit, I wider scope of His love.
Also, lately, I’ve noticed the importance of Christ in my life deter. I asked God to help me change that and I’m excited to dive deeper into his satisfying love. I’m so happy, so content, so at peace because of the pruning that God has done in my life. Thank you Lord. You are a vision, and words can’t contain you Christ. Lastly, I’ll leave with a quote that hit home with me.A quote that I can’t stop wrapping my mind around”

How are you living your life today as you know Christ is coming again?
